COURSE DESCRIPTION: A course in the use of information resources in research,
reference, integration, and online learning. Topics include the use and
evaluation of traditional and electronic information resources, design
and selection of resources for classrooms and libraries, digital ethics.
CREDITS: 3 graduate semester credits
PREREQUISITES: EDCI 320 (Foundations of Instructional
Computing) or equivalent; graduate standing.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course explores the field of childrens' young adult (YA) literature through reading children's and YA materials as well as professional articles and Internet resources. Through assignments and discussions, we will look at children's and YA literature field through the eyes of adults who will use these books with children and teens.
